Quick Facts: Coach Billy Nicholson enters his fourth season at the helm of the Centennial Knights Baseball Program and second as the schools Athletic Director. He also teaches Health and Physical Education and serves on several state and national baseball committees. He is a native of Brunswick, Georgia where he played high school baseball and football for Jimmy Brown and John Willis respectively. Nicholson holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Georgia Southwestern State University where he was a 3 year letterman for the Hurricanes Baseball team and legendary coach Bill Haywood. He will obtain his Masters of Science in Sports Administration in August. He resides in Suwanee, Georgia with his wife, the former, Jennifer Johnson of Americus, and their two daughters, Ashlee and Halee. In his spare time, Coach Nicholson enjoys hunting, fishing and golf. In the summers, Coach Nicholson serves as the Bench Coach for the Rome Braves, Class A Affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.
