CENTENNIAL FALLS TO CAMPBELL IN REGION SEMIS …
The Knights qualified for a playoff spot with a win over Pope in the Region quarterfinals earlier in the week but lost Saturday in the semifinals 68-60 to Campbell. Centennial will now face Wheeler at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at Campbell in the consolation game. The winner will get the No. 3 seed in the region for the playoffs while the loser will get the fourth spot. The girls season came to an end after they beat Lassiter in the first round but lost to Campbell in the quarterfinals.
