Quick Facts: A graduate of the University of Georgia, Cathy Rumfelt is starting her ninth year at Centennial and her fourth year as head coach for girls cross country. In the 2007 season, she coached the girls all the way to the State meet where they placed 7th. Coach Rumfelt started running as an adult; she enjoys running long distances and ran her first marathon in 2004. When she's not running, she teaches 9th and 11th grade English and sponsors the literary magazine, Avalon. She is also working on her masters degree in English at Georgia State University.
